Automations and safety
Approvals and safety
Decide when the assistant must ask before acting, and approve or decline requests from the dashboard or your chat tools.
The assistant asks before it changes anything in your tools. Set how careful it should be in Settings > Configuration under Approval policy:
- Untrusted: ask before every tool call.
- On request (the default): ask before writing, deleting, anything with an outside effect, and unknown tools.
- Never ask for approval: run tools without asking.
Sending email always asks first, whatever the policy. A new policy applies to new conversations; existing ones keep the policy they started with.
Approving
Pending requests are listed under Approvals, with a count in the sidebar. Choose Approve, Approve with changes to edit what will be sent, or Decline. In Slack, Bitrix24 and WhatsApp, reply approve or decline (onayla or reddet in Turkish); Discord shows buttons. A request expires after 24 hours in chat and 72 hours for automations.
Built-in safety limits
A run stops on its own when it makes more than 40 tool calls, repeats the same call three times in a row, uses more than 300 credits, or runs too long (5 minutes in chat, 10 minutes for automations and chat tools). You see Run stopped by the safety limit with the reason.
