Slack knowledge capture

Let the assistant suggest decisions, facts and processes from chosen Slack channels. You review every suggestion before it reaches Memory.

Knowledge capture is included in the Pro and Business packages. It reads only the Slack channels an admin chooses and never saves anything without a review.

Turn it on

1. Add the LauncherUp app to the Slack channels you want to watch.
2. Open Connections, choose your Slack connection and open Knowledge capture.
3. Select the channels and save. No channel is watched by default.

How it works

After a channel has been quiet for about 15 minutes, or at most an hour after a message, the AI reads the new messages in a batch and proposes up to five statements: decisions, facts, processes or contacts. Messages are deleted once read, and messages left unread for 24 hours are dropped.

Proposals appear in the Board's review inbox with a Knowledge badge. Edit the statement, then Save to Memory as a new topic document or into an existing document, or Dismiss it. A dismissed statement is not proposed again.

Privacy

Tell people in watched channels that their messages are read by an AI model, and avoid channels with personal or confidential conversations.
